From Maryland to Argentina: Global Lessons in Farm Management

Two men stand indoors on either side of a large research poster displayed on a stand. Both are smiling and wearing conference badges. The poster is titled “Assessing evolving challenges and educational needs in commercial and backyard poultry management” and includes charts, graphs, and text sections such as introduction, methods, results, and conclusions. The men appear to be presenting or standing with their work. The setting includes wooden shelving with plants in the background, suggesting a conference or academic venue. A tote bag rests on the floor near one of the presenters.

Overhead, a protective netting structure covers the trees, suggesting a managed agricultural environment. The lighting indicates a sunny day, and the scene conveys active harvesting during the growing season.

As labor challenges continue to impact agricultural operations across the region, the H-2A program has become an increasingly important option for securing seasonal workforce needs. This seminar series will provide participants with practical insights into the financial, legal, and regulatory considerations associated with the program.
