ALEI is excited to announce we will livestream two presentations this Friday at our upcoming annual Agriculture and Environmental Law Conference. To tune in, visit https://www.youtube.com/user/UnivMdBaltimore this Friday, November 17, 2017 from 12:40PM to 2:10PM.
The livestream will begin at 12:40 PM with Maryland’s Secretary of the Environment Ben Grumbles’ presentation on Maryland’s Climate Change Programs. Given the federal political landscape, state level action to combat climate change is viewed by some as more important now than ever. This update will provide a quick rundown of how Maryland is addressing climate change.
At 1:15 PM we will broadcast our Keynote Panel: Conservation Programs and the 2018 Farm Bill. As the 2018 Farm Bill begins to take shape many are speculating about the future of popular conservation programs, such as the Conservation Reserve Program. Expert panelists will discuss what conservation programs they anticipate will be impacted by the passage of the 2018 Farm Bill and will field questions from conference attendees.
