G. Ellis Collier
Biography
Ellis Collier was born and raised in Westover, Maryland. In 2014, Ellis was appointed as a USDA/1890 National Scholar sponsored by the Natural Resources Conservation Service. In 2016, he graduated with honors from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture with a concentration in Agriculture Education. He is the former president of the Black Law Student Association (BLSA) for the University of Arkansas Chapter and the Past National Vice President for Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources and Related Sciences (MANRRS). In 2019, he graduated from the University of Arkansas School of Law. Prior to joining ALEI, Ellis was a paralegal for Steve D. Cox Law Firm in Salisbury, Maryland. In his current position as the Senior Legal Research Associate, Ellis plans to use his experience in agricultural and law to be an advocate for legal education in Agriculture.
