Margaret Bushko is a third-year law student at the University of Maryland’s Carey School of Law. She is a student attorney with the University’s Environmental Law Clinic, which works with community groups and non-profit organizations on environmental justice matters. She recently completed a summer clerkship with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of General Counsel, focusing on civil rights and finance law. She is interested in international environmental law and is currently a Fellow with the Center for Transnational Environmental Accountability’s China-Africa Fellowship Program. Prior to law school, Margaret worked in arts management and administration with orchestras and performing arts centers around the country.
