Biography

Paul Goeringer is the Extension Legal Specialist at the University of Maryland.  He grew up on his family’s wheat and cattle operation in Western Oklahoma.  Upon graduating from high school, Paul attended Oklahoma State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics.  After graduating from OSU, Paul decided to attend law school for some strange reason still unknown to him. He graduated with a Juris Doctorate from a school in Norman, Oklahoma (also known as the University of Oklahoma).  After law school, Paul received an LL.M in Agricultural Law and a Master of Science in Agricultural Economics from the University of Arkansas and is licensed to practice in Oklahoma.  Paul is an active member and current board member of the American Agricultural Law Association, an active member Agriculture Law Section of the Maryland State Bar Association and Southern Agricultural Economics Association, and a member of the Agricultural & Applied Economics Association.
