The Maryland Land Conservation Conference is the largest gathering of its kind in the state of Maryland. This annual conference brings together land trusts, conservancies, local and state government agencies, heritage organizations, members of the agricultural community and other partners for a comprehensive discussion about the future of land conservation in our region.
This year’s conference will explore topics related to the legal end of stewardship, enhanced conservation, engaging the next generation of conservation stewards and using science and technology to further conservation goals.
ALEI Initiative Team Members Kelly Nuckolls Winslow and Sarah Everhart are scheduled to present on the topic of Recent Legal Decisions Affecting Agricultural Land Conservation during Concurrent Session I.
A preliminary conference agenda is now available, and will be updated as the conference approaches.
